Gull Lake Virtual Partnership
We are proud to partner with Gull Lake Virtual Academy for our academic program. As a staff, we understand the importance of balancing academics with athletics for students who want to play at the college level. Our academic program will provide the guidance and supervision to help each of our athletes learn how to manage their time and excel in the classroom. Along with Gull Lake Virtual, Oakland Community College is the partner for dual enrollment for players that want to get college credits in high school and post grad courses.

Aaron played 4 years at Wright State University. He was a member of the 2007 Horizon League All-Newcomer Team. He helped lead Wright State to the Horizon League Tournament Title in 2009 as well as to the regular season title in 2010. In 2010, he was selected to the Horizon League All-Tournament team and PG all region team. During his care
Aaron played 4 years at Wright State University. He was a member of the 2007 Horizon League All-Newcomer Team. He helped lead Wright State to the Horizon League Tournament Title in 2009 as well as to the regular season title in 2010. In 2010, he was selected to the Horizon League All-Tournament team and PG all region team. During his career at Wright State, he collected over 200 hits. After his 2010 season at Wright State, Fields was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the MLB Draft. He played parts of 3 seasons in the Cleveland Indians organization. Upon concluding his playing career, Aaron scouted for the Detroit Tigers. He has been the owner of All Fields Hitting Baseball Academy for the last 9 years!
Along with extensive baseball experience, he also has that experience in academics. He was the director of an education and brain training program, where he worked directly with students on learning plans, academics, study skills and test prep. Aaron brings a wealth of experience in baseball and education! We could not have a more perfect leader of our program!

After being named an All American and Mr. Baseball in the state of Michigan, Daniel was drafted in the 6th round out of high school by the Detroit Tigers. Throughout his journey to the Major Leagues with Detroit, he won the Most valuable player for the Lakeland Tigers, was named the organizational gold glove winner for centerfield and was named an organizational all star in Erie (AA). Coach Fields would later get to the Major Leagues with Detroit. Upon concluding his career with the Tigers, he would go on to play with the Brewers, Dodgers and Diamondbacks. Daniel finished his 12 year professional career in 2022 after a successful stint in the Atlantic league where he won a championship and had multiple successful seasons!
We could not be more excited to have Coach Fields on staff. His MLB/playing experience is extremely valuable and he will play a big role in working with our position players. Along with the physical part of the game he will be a great asset in helping our players develop the right mentality to have success at the highest levels!

Coach Tompson attended Farmington High School and played 4 years of varsity baseball. After High School, Tyler committed to play baseball at Wayne State University from 2013-2017. From there Tyler began his coaching career and continued at Wayne State as a student-assistant coach from 2017-2018. From there, Tyler became a graduate assista
Coach Tompson attended Farmington High School and played 4 years of varsity baseball. After High School, Tyler committed to play baseball at Wayne State University from 2013-2017. From there Tyler began his coaching career and continued at Wayne State as a student-assistant coach from 2017-2018. From there, Tyler became a graduate assistant coach at Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida for the 2018-2019 season. The Southeastern Fire finished the year 53-12 overall, winning the Sun Conference as well as the NAIA regional to earn a place in the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho.
At the conclusion of the 2019 season, Tyler accepted a full-time position at Ron Wolforth’s Texas Baseball Ranch in Montgomery, Texas as a pitching instructor and events coordinator. In 2021, Tyler was promoted to Durathro™ Coordinator – running and coordinating their Durathro™ online training program for athletes that have attended camps and programs. Tyler has worked with athletes of all ages and levels of play, from little league to the Major Leagues. He specializes player/pitching development, as well as building a healthy, durable arm.

Bruce Fields is a 43 year veteran in professional baseball. Coach Fields played in the Major Leagues for the Detroit Tigers and Seattle Mariners. He also served many years as the Hitting Coordinator and Major League Hitting Coach for the Cleveland Guardians and Tigers.

He played professionally for 14 seasons in the Detroit Tigers, Seattle Mariners, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays and Atlanta Braves organizations.
He batted .274 with a HR and 11 RBI in 58 career games in the Majors. He owns a career minor league average of .295 with 41 HR and 516 RBI in 1,381 games. He won 3 batting titles at the minor league level as he hit .323 in 1985 at Birmingham, .368 in 1986 at Nashville and .351 in 1989 with Calgary. Coach Fields brings a wealth of experience and expertise. He is a big time addition to our staff.

Coach Borrocci was the associate head coach at Marygrove College for 2 seasons. He coached at the high school level for 20 years including varsity head coaching jobs with Lutheran Northwest and L’Anse Creuse. He has 8 years of summer coaching experience and 15+ years of recruiting experience in college placement!

He has a BS in Kinesiology from University of Toledo and a Master’s of Applied Exercise Science with a focus in Strength and Conditioning from Concordia Universtiy Chicago. He is currently a PhD candidate for Doctorate in Health and Human Performance. R
